We have recently welcomed a new part-time staff member to
our team. Kathryn A. recently moved out West from Oakville
Ontario, as a transfer student from Ryerson University to the
University of Calgary. Kathryn is currently enrolled as a full
time student in the English department, but is considering
transferring to the business faculty, and wants to gain some
experience at a law firm. Kathryn is looking forward to
assisting our clients and learning about our firm.

As part of our continuing commitment to assist our clients
by staying abreast of new developments and changes in the
law, Sam l., our staff supervisor, recently attended a full day
seminar on current real estate topics and procedures. As a
result, we have implemented several changes to our
procedures and documents to further streamline our
procedures and keep us at the leading edge.

Michael has recently agreed to write a series of articles for the
Weekly Real Estate News, published by the Calgary Real
Estate Board. Commencing December 1, 2006, look for
articles on various real estate topics under the heading
“Legally Speaking” which will be published on a monthly basis.

Jennifer R., who is employed at our firm on a part time basis,
and who has been
studying international business while on a 4 month practicum
at Manchester, England, will be returning to the University of
Calgary in January 2007, to complete her degree this spring,
and will be returning to her part time position with us as well.
Jennifer is looking forward to admission to La School this fall.
