primary focus is and will remain real estate,
corporate/commercial and business law.

review of complex contracts, and residential purchase/sale

and sales (apartment buildings, shopping centers, development
lands, farm lands) all types of mortgages for virtually all financial
institutions, private and vendor take back mortgages,
encumbrances, agreements for sale and other financing
arrangements, joint venture and co-ownership agreements,
subdivisions, condominiumizations, preparation and
amendment of restrictive covenants (through Court applications)
preparation and review of commercial and residential leases,
preparation and review of assignments and

Corporate Commercial - Incorporation and organization of
corporations, societies, preparation of asset and share
purchase/sale agreements, completion of asset purchases and
sales, transfer of quotas, franchises, licence agreements,
employment agreements, confidentiality agreements,
unanimous shareholder agreements, rollover agreements,
employee pension agreements, equipment leases, purchases
and sales of commercial equipment, minutes of meetings,
resolutions, corporate financing, general security agreements,
guarantees.

Wills and Estates – Preparation of wills, enduring powers of
attorney, general and specific powers of attorney, personal
directives preparation of applications for grants of probate,
letters of administration, providing advice and assistance to
personal representatives, preparation of guardianship and
trusteeship applications, applications to pass accounts.

Civil Litigation - Although no longer involved extensively in
litigation, we have conducted numerous litigation matters,
including breach of contract, wrongful dismissal, nuisance,
conversion, replevin, civil fraud and breach of trust, assault,
insurance claims, foreclosure, builder’s liens, debt collections,
personal injury, landlord and tenant litigation, numerous
interlocutory applications at both Masters and Judge’s
Chambers, judicial mediation

Criminal Litigation - Although no longer involved extensively in
criminal litigation, we have conducted numerous trials at both
Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench on many types of
criminal and drug charges, as well as appeals of sentences and
convictions at both the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of
Appeal of Alberta

Family and Divorce - Although no longer involved extensively in
divorce and family law, we have represented parties in both
contested and uncontested divorce and matrimonial property
matters, as well as preparation of pre-nuptual agreements,
matrimonial property agreements, agreements with respect to
child custody, access and maintenance, adoptions, name
changes, acting as court appointed amicus curiae, post-divorce
variation applications.
